Dr. Demray Celebrates 40-Years in Northville

“There’s No Place Like Our Dental Home”

Dr. William Demray celebrates a milestone

Northville, Mich – Dr. William Demray, the founder of Preservation Dental (PD), celebrated his 40th Anniversary doing business in Northville on Friday, July 28, 2017. He invited the community, his friends, family and most importantly his patients to a movie night at the Marquis Theatre for a big screen showing of Wizard of Oz. The 40th anniversary is traditionally celebrated with rubies. Dorothy’s ruby slippers are iconic. With the help of a patient the practice adopted a special edition logo with the tag line “There’s no place like our dental home.” Northville’s Mayor Ken Roth joined the celebration, and in true Oz-like character, cleverly presented the doctor with a commendation from the citizens
of Northville. In Hollywood fashion, a cast of characters was on hand for photo opportunities along the red carpet with guests as they arrived. Everyone was treated like a hometown celebrity!

It has been a yearlong celebration at the office of Preservation Dental – marked with a yellow brick road in the pocket garden in front of the historic Victorian home office. Dr. Demray is known for his hands-on approach to dentistry and preservation of the historic properties in town. Niccole Cervi, the longest current employee at Preservation Dental, introduced the doctor at the Friday night event. In her words: “When I started we used a typewriter…everything was handwritten…Doc does not follow the latest trends…for those of you who call him your dentist, you can and should be proud of that.”

Dr. Demray spoke to the crowd, “I am replete with gratitude.” He told some heartwarming stories of patients past and present who have made a difference in his life. He assured patients he plans to keep on growing the practice for years to come. “It is my hope that PD lives on for future generations, long beyond my years.”
